This is a BRAND NEW Cork Screw (Spiral) Gas Furnace HSI (Hot Surface Ignitor). Simply unplug yours and plug this one in! This Ignitor works on many York/Luxaire/Coleman gas furnaces- it works for ALL York/Luxaire/Coleman furnaces with a spiralignitor. There are three wiring adapters that come with this Ignitor making it Universal to basically any Furnace out there with a Spiral Ignitor.
Function:The purpose of an ignitor is to ignite the gas after the gas valve opens up. It most cases, the ignitor turns off after ignition has occurred.
